As summer draws to an end, I find myself more and more thankful for teachers! Any moms out there with me? As much as I have enjoyed all the extra time with my kiddos, I am more than ready to carry on a conversation with clients without an interruption because somebody won't share or because there is a Pokemon nearby.
I'm a girl who loves a routine. And with summer that just doesn't exist. So yeah, this work at home mom is sooooo ready for school to start! Bring on the homework! Haha!
Here's how awesome I am. Y'all ready? I decided a few weeks ago that I'd post my August goals on the blog. It would make sense that those were posted on the 1st, right? Well, it's August 2nd . . . but here goes nothing! Woohoo!
AUGUST GOALS
Business Goals:
1. Move all of our files over to our new Dropbox Business account. I am so loving that my whole team can access our company files in one location instead of having to share folders back & forth. I should have done this years ago!
2. Book our last 2 September available dates.
3. Continue to get my team comfortable with our new workflow in Trello. It's been awesome so far!
4. Social Media planned for each week on Sunday afternoons.
5. Take my amazing team out to lunch!!!
Personal Goals:
1. Get my rear moving again! It was so difficult to fit in workouts this summer. Ready to get back at it! To be realistic, I'm gonna say 4 times a week for August :)
2. Organize my closet and bathroom! It's pretty much a disaster right now.
3. Sit down to a family dinner 3 times a week. This one will be tough, not gonna lie.
4. Fill out my Power Sheets from Lara Casey! Can't wait to do this! Planning a whole blog post on these once I get going with them.
5. Sign up for my gun safety course. Yes, I just said that. It's been on my list forever! And I'm gonna do it!
BOOKS I'M READING THIS MONTH:
It's no secret that I love a good book & that I always have one stashed away in my bag AND in the car! And usually my Kindle by the bed. know. I know. This month I'll have my hands on All Marketers are Liars by Seth Godin and The Choice by Nicholas Sparks. Yeah, I'm a sucker for those too. Don't tell me how it ends!!!
