Ally came to us from Ola High School for her senior pictures!
I'm so happy she did. She's a little fireball, and I love that about her.
She's got a little bit country and a little bit girly girl in her. You'll see that in her images. It was important to her mom and dad that we showcase it all and with our Senior Experience Session we did just that!
Outfits
I tell the girls to bring about 6 outfits (guys, about 4). In our 2 hours of shooting time we can photograph at least 4 outfits. Most times we can get in a fifth one. With the guys I'm lucky to talk them into the 4th one! Haha! Variety is key with choosing outfits for senior portraits. Mama should ALWAYS get a favorite. Senior should too! The rest can be a compromise ;) All of our seniors get an extensive What To Wear Guide before their session to help with putting outfits together too.
Hair and Makeup
Ally's session started with an hour of full on primping by our professional hair and makeup artist. She loved this part of her session!
Most of the time the girls will bring some ideas for how she wants her to look for her portraits. We put on some of her favorite jams and just chat to calm nerves. While in hair and makeup mom and I are going through outfits making sure we have all the pieces organized and if we need to add anything from our style collection here at the studio.
Choosing Locations
Based on Ally's outfits (and personality) I put together a little list of locations here in Forsyth County that I know will work well for her. After that we load up and hit the road to start shooting!
